I trust you continue enjoying Christian Jeevan Prakash Magazine. Let me introduce this issue —
It is traditional to begin each year with the thought that everything is NEW! We look for sermons to be preached on the subject of “NEW” and write articles on the subject. But is it really true? Is everything really new? In fact, is anything really new?
Once the festivities are over and we get back to reality life really is back to the same old things. Our old habits and sinful ways are what we live with. The spiritual state of our personal and family living and our church life is just the same. Our new clothes and the new paint of our homes fade into becoming old and nothing is really new.
More importantly – and this is good news – the Gospel is the same never changing Gospel. The gospel is still God’s power to transform sinners and bring us new life. This is the most important thing to consider. Do we Christians have new life in Jesus? Are we traditionally Christians or are we seriously taking heed to the Gospel’s call to repent of our sin and turn whole-heartedly to Jesus.
That will make everything NEW! Enjoy this new life and pass on the Gospel message to others throughout 2016.
